Drinks Pairing

The drinks menu at THE BRIDGE is divided into five sections, each representing a different aspect of the restaurant’s unique make up. The bar team and the kitchen team have closely cooperated to put together a wine list that complements and even enhances the flavours of Sichuan cuisine. The wine list also offers a thematic complement to the food menu; for example, the cellar boasts a number of rare and obscure bottles that tell a similar story to the historical dishes that Chef Andre has brought back to life. Whatever the menu, the restaurant’s skilled team of sommeliers can design the perfect drinks pairing, whether that be cocktails, wine, whiskey or even baijiu.

At THE BRIDGE BAR, the sommelier team use their considerable professionalism and experience to create unique, exciting wine pairings. Drawing on all of the five senses, they work with each guest to discover their perfect wine.

Cocktails: THE BRIDGE BAR offers a selection of classic cocktails alongside innovative, Sichuan-inspired recipes created by world-class bartenders. The bar also regularly hosts guests bartenders from some of the world’s best bars.

Whiskey: THE BRIDGE BAR boasts a selection of the world’s best and rarest whiskeys and has been recognised by China’s foremost whiskey association.

Wine: THE BRIDGE BAR has been awarded “China’s Best Wine List 2018,” a testament to the team’s in-depth knowledge of and passion for wine.
